Early Dismissal
Please be advised that Tuesday, June 18th, the last day of school, we will be a half day of school.  Students will be dismissed at 12:00.  SACC will remain open normal hours.
 
Award
Springwoods Elementary School has been named a Prince William County School of Excellence for the 2011-2012 school year.  Springwoods is one of four schools that has earned this distinction for the past twelve consecutive years. Keep up the amazing work Springwoods Patriots!

Science Summer Camp at Mary Williams Elementary
Looking for a fun yet challenging, engaging, and educational activity for your child to participate in over the summer? Consider sending your child to a summer camp at Mary Williams Elementary School.   Robotechniweek June 24th–28th (grades 3-5 only), The Circle of Life July 8th–12th (grades 1–5), and To Infinity and Beyond (grades 1–5) July 15th-19th. For more information and the application form, see the attached file.

School Lunch
New Lunch Prices for 2012-2013

Prices for the 2012-2013 school year were increased in compliance with the Equity in School Lunch Pricing Provision of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The purpose is to insure that federal funds received for free and reduced price meals are not diverted to cover the meal cost of the students who do not qualify for meal assistance.
 
Full Paid Lunch Prices Effective 2012-2013 school year:
  • $2.25 Elementary School
  • $2.40 Middle School
  • $2.50 High School
  • $3.20  Adult lunch price
